Editorial biography
Yujin Nagasawa is a prominent contemporary philosopher specializing in philosophy of religion and the concept of God. Currently Professor of Philosophy at the University of Birmingham, he has made significant contributions to debates on divine attributes, the problem of evil, and arguments for God's existence. His work "The Existence of God: A Philosophical Introduction" (2011) provides a comprehensive analysis of classical and contemporary arguments for and against God's existence, examining ontological, cosmological, teleological, and moral arguments while addressing atheistic challenges. Nagasawa is particularly known for developing the "maximal God" approach to perfect being theology and for his innovative work on the problem of divine hiddenness.
